A Walk Down Memory Lane

Well, since I won't have access to my "old photos" in Florida, this is my Memorable Monday post. It's so much fun to look through my old photos and remember all of those good times and to think about all of the good times to come. I guess this is the scrapbooker in me!

A picture from last Halloween seemed appropriate for today. If only you could really see how huge I was. Who would have guessed Andy and I would have an almost 10 pound baby!

We went to a waterpark in September. It was so much fun! Sully was the perfect age for it and Charlie was happy to be along for the ride.

Like Father Like Son! I couldn't resist taking this picture back in March. Charlie was 3-months old and already showing of his now famous grin.

One of my favorite Sully photos! This was taken at his 2nd birthday party---what else can I say?!

Happy Halloween!

This was the best picture I could get of Sully during his school parade. He was absolutely adorable as Winnie The Pooh. The other pictures are just the boys goofing around. We leave for Florida tomorrow so check back to see pictures of our vacation. Of course Andy will have a computer so I will be able to post. Have a great weekend!

Recharging!

I couldn't resist taking the picture of Charlie sleeping. He was zonked out! It's amazing how peaceful he is when he's sleeping and how busy he is when he's awake. I love to see that smile when I go in to get him up from his nap!

Who's the Big Brother?

Now, that's what brothers are for!

Ouch! Charlie always goes for the hair.

Charlie has quite a grip! Sully better watch out because I think Charlie may give him a run for the money.

Bundle Up!

It's getting to be that time of year again! Time to get out all the warm clothes, hats, mittens, winter jackets, and snowsuits. The boys certainly don't seem to mind the cold so I guess I better get ready for it. Charlie is doing much better and we got a full night of sleep last night. Florida couldn't be coming at a more ideal time.

Pronti Sighting!

Since everyone seemed to enjoy hearing about Pronti, I thought I would try to keep you updated. We saw his car today at Target. He was driving his green mini coop. Sully informed me that after Target, Pronti was headed to the hospital because he broke his lip. This may interfere with any plans he may have had for Florida. I'll let you know if he makes an appearance! Also, he has a brother named Prontos for those of you that did not know that.

Here is Sully on December 31, 2006 (22 months old). He still makes those faces! He has always been very expressive and maybe a little on the dramatic side. Not sure where he got that!

Baby on the Move

We got this push toy out of storage so Charlie could practice his "walking." He loves it! Sully will stand in front of him and encourage him to walk towards him. What a great cheering section!

Pronti Update

Well, I'm not sure if everyone knows about Sully's friend Pronti (Andy corrected my earlier spelling of Prontee) so I wanted to update everyone. Pronti came into Sully's life right before Charlie was born and has been a part of the family ever since. Pronti is a very interesting character but we have seen much less of him since Sully started school. Sully attributes this to Pronti's very busy work schedule. Here are some facts about Pronti according to Sully:

-He drives a mini coop
-He fixes the stop lights
-He can be big or small
-He also drives a towtruck

More updates to follow!

Peek-A-Boo

Charlie loves to play peek-a-boo under our coffee table. He goes up and down and just smiles and giggles. He is a little picky though---he won't play peek-a-boo with anyone else's coffee table. What a fun game!

TGIF!!!

It seems like this week has just dragged. Andy is under the weather and Charlie has a cough. We have been up the past three nights with one or both of the boys so we are exhausted. Although Charlie had a rough night, both boys woke up in good spirits. We are enjoying a lazy day in our pj's and I am hoping to sneak in a nap! Thank goodness we are going to Florida in a week. The warm weather will be good for us all!

All By Myself

While Sully is at school, Charlie gets the run of the house and actually gets to play with his toys! It's funny to see him look around or go into Sully's room to see if he's there. I'm sure Charlie enjoys his one-on-one time with me but he's always excited to see Sully when we pick him up from school.

Memorable Mondays-3

This was taken when Charlie came home from the hospital (December 8, 2007). Sully was trying out his new role as a big brother. He seems pretty comfortable with it now! Charlie just adores him.

Race Day!

This Saturday, we (me, Laura, Bec, Sully, Abby and Trevor) participated in a race. The kids ran distances of 20 yards to 1/4 mile. They all did great! The adults participated in a 5K run/walk. It was really nice to get back into racing and I am definitely looking forward to more. In the picture above, I am getting ready to take Charlie in the costume parade. Abby took Sully through the parade---she was a cheerleader and Sully was a runner! He would have roasted in his Winnie the Pooh costume! Trevor was dressed as an Army guy.

Here are the kids before their race! We definitely have some future runners in the family.

Me, Charlie, Abby, and Sully waiting for the costume parade.

Brotherly Love

It's so much fun to see the boys "hanging out" and playing together. Charlie just loves to follow his big brother around and play with his toys. Sully gets so excited every time Charlie does something new. He is great at cheering him on. They both seem to enjoy having their pictures taken as well!

Family Time!

Just another evening hanging around the house. After dinner time, we clean up, start getting ready for bed and get some last minute playtime. Sully and Andy love to goof around and Charlie is trying out his new skill---standing by himself!

Back to Basics

Here is proof that no matter how many toys a kid has---he just wants to play with everyday stuff! Charlie absolutely loves this drawer full of kitchen "stuff."

On days when I work, Mary (our nanny) takes Sully to and from school and watches Charlie. Sully likes to watch for her in the morning and then after school makes "bets" with Mary about whether Andy or I will get home first.
