Sully loves his new pj's from Aunt Bec and Uncle Matt. He told me to touch them so I could see how soft they are! He definitely has some room to grow!

Merry Christmas!

Andy bought me a double jog stroller/bike trailer for Christmas. It's a little tricky to go running right now because the ice is so bad on the sidewalks. I can't wait until I can use this and take my boys out!


Sully was really into Christmas this year. He wanted to open everyone's presents! Good thing Charlie didn't mind at all!

Sully and Poppa

We decided to go and visit Poppa and Gramma on Sunday. We hadn't seen them in a while so it was nice to just hang out!

Look Who's Hungry!

We don't see this face very often! Since Charlie has switched to milk and is eating more table food, he seems to have a much bigger appetite. As soon as he saw Andy making the pancakes, he started freaking out because he couldn't get them fast enough.

Sully started the pancake craze at our house. He had to have Daddy's "pampakes" on the weekends!

Step-by-Step

Charlie has been taking more and more steps. He gets so excited and so do we!

Holiday Spirit!

Sully had his holiday party at school today. He was very festive in his red, green, and white!

Winter is Here!

The snow started coming down around noon today. Andy and Sully do a great job of shoveling every time it snows! Sully could be outside all day and never get tired of it. It's too bad you can't see those rosy cheeks in the pictures!

Rub a Dub Dub, Two Boys in a Tub!

Bath time is lots of fun for the boys. It can get a little rowdy in there with all the splashing!

Pancakes! Pancakes! Pancakes!

We love to have pancakes on the weekend! Andy makes the best pancakes and now all members of our family can eat them. Charlie has just started enjoying this family ritual and he ate about three this morning!

Very Merry!

I think we did a great job decorating. Sully was really into it and Charlie was pretty mesmerized by the lights. The tree looks great. All we need is a star for the top!



Sully was so excited to get the tree! I admit, so was I. I love Christmas and this is the latest I have ever put up a tree---also the first time I have ever had a real tree.


Charlie enjoyed the trip to Home Depot as well. We got the tree and the lights and were ready to decorate!

Bedtime Story!

Sully loves to read! Tonight he read Charlie a bedtime story..."Brown Bear, Brown Bear." I hope you enjoy this video.

Rainy Day Fun!

I guess these are a little backwards...we ended our day with dinner. Broccoli is Sully's favorite veggie!


It was such a crummy, rainy day so Bec and O came over to hang out. Olivia was enjoying Elmo's toolbench.


Bummer! It's still raining!


Charlie did not take good naps today so he was full of snuggles. He gets like that when he's tired, otherwise he is full of energy and into everything.

I think Sully is enjoying Charlie's birthday gifts more than Charlie is!

Charlie Stats

I had a chance to go running with Charlie while Sully was at school today. It was great! He was smiling and babbling the whole time. He also had his 1-year check-up today so here are the stats...
Weight: 23 pounds 12 ounces ((50-75th percentile)
Height: 30.5 inches (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 19 inches (90-95th percentile)

Charlie has actually lost a couple of ounces since his 9-month check-up so we will go back in six weeks for a weight check just to make sure he is gaining. He has been sick a couple of times since his last visit and just started milk so the doctor wasn't too concerned but wants to be thorough.

He did great with all of his shots and Sully was the perfect big brother during the visit!

Party Time!

Charlie seemed to enjoy his 1st birthday party! Sully helped him open all of his gifts and test out all the new toys. That's what big brothers are for. After a slight hesitation, Charlie dug into his piece of cake and enjoyed every bite. We are looking forward to another fun-filled year!
