The Children's Museum!

We all went to the Children's Museum this afternoon. There was a ton of stuff for the boys to do! They dressed up like firemen and explored hoses, slid down the pole, and drove the truck. There was some rope climbing for Sully and building for Charlie. They have an exhibit right now called, "Snow Much Fun" where the kids can build forts, throw snowballs and decorate the snowmen. They both had a blast!

Andy decided to give the boys a bath in the big tub and join in the fun! They even enjoyed some time with the jets on. I had three squeaky clean boys!

Pudding Time!

I ran to the store with Charlie to pick up a few items. I grabbed some pudding for the boys and the whole way home Charlie was demanding pudding. I was able to get get him to eat a little lunch but then it was pudding time! As you can tell by the pictures---he loved it!

Catching Up!

For some reason, last week just seemed really busy and I fell behind on blogging. So, here are some photos to catch everyone up on what's been going on!

Saturday, the boys and I went to see my friend Cathy and welcome the newest addition to their family. I can't believe we actually got a decent picture of all six kids!

Day in Review!

We met Grammy and Grampy for breakfast and then they came back to the house to play with the boys. Sully showed Grampy how to play Wii and Charlie kept everyone busy reading and building towers!

A trip to Andy's office is always fun for the kids...lots of room to run around and tons of windows with lots to see!

Finally, a trip to Pep Boys to replace one of my headlights. Way to go Andy!

Working Together!

The boys had a great time stacking the boxes tonight! Charlie likes knocking them down but Sully was pretty patient with him. It's so much fun to watch them play together!

Date Night!

Andy and I went out to dinner Saturday night at one of our favorite places. Thanks to Bec for watching the boys!

We made it!

Just wanted to let you know that we made it through the day "boo-boo" free! Charlie is still in one piece and has no new bumps, bruises, etc.

Boo-Boo Kid!

Yes, Charlie has another boo-boo! He was closing his eyes, goofing around, and ran smack into the bedroom door frame, hitting his left cheek. He is looking a little rough today with all these bruises and bumps.

Ouch!

Yes, this is what happens when you are running full speed, fall, and hit the leg of the coffee table! Charlie is pretty tough but this brought some major tears and a gigantic goose egg. He was feeling better after some ice and motrin. We'll see what it looks like tomorrow...

Week 2---Sully Ice Skating!

This was Sully's second "Learn to Skate" class. My mom was in town so she was able to come and watch. He was a little preoccupied with the Zamboni to look at the camera!

This week he was able to skate a little without holding on.

Book Worms!

Sully and Charlie both love to read. Sully is actually starting to read words and also has a few favorite stories memorized. Charlie was quite engaged while Sully was reading to him yesterday evening. Of course, I was bubbling over with pride and had to snap lots of pictures!

Streaker!

Charlie likes to "streak" around the house when you get him undressed. Last night, he ran out of the bathroom, grabbed my phone and decided to call Poppa. He kept saying, "Hi Pop-pop!" Once we did get him dressed, we called Poppa so they could chat.

A Snowy Day!

The boys LOVE the snow! Thank goodness because there is plenty of it today! They were a big help shoveling and had plenty of time to make snow angels and take rides on the sled!

Sully had his first class last night. It's from 5-5:50---right in the middle of dinner! They gave the new skaters this little metal frame to help them keep their balance. He says that he enjoyed it but didn't know skating would be so hard! Tune in for more next week!

Alex's Baptism

Andy and I were honored to be chosen as Alex's Godparents. Although it was a bitterly cold day, we enjoyed the brunch and Baptism with family and friends.

Sully is going to start taking "learn to ice skate" lessons on Wednesday so we went today to get his skates. There was a hockey game going on while we were there, so Sully got to see what hockey is all about. We also got to see the zamboni!

New Year's Day 2010!

I reorganized the play area! It had to be done to accomodate all of the new stuff from Santa, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, etc.

I went to a bar method class as part of my new year's resolution to get in better shape!

Andy cooked a wonderful dinner for the whole family to kick off 2010! I am looking forward to a wonderful 2010 with family and friends!

Family Fun!

The whole family went to Pump It Up yesterday! It's so much fun and a great way to burn off some energy on a cold day.

Sully received this game (Elefun) from Laura, Jim, Abby, and Trevor for Christmas. Sully absolutely loves it and Charlie goes nuts when the butterflies start shooting out of the elephant's trunk.

Yesterday morning we met my parents, Olivia, and Uncle Chris for breakfast. Matt and Bec were home with a sick Alex. After breakfast, we decided to go to the zoo to see the farm animals. When we got there, we realized it was closed so we just walked around and enjoyed the snow. Uncle Chris was teaching Sully to make snowballs and Olivia wanted to catch the snowflakes on her tongue! Charlie loved just running around with rosy cheeks! It was a beautiful snowfall!

Santa Was Here!

Christmas morning we opened presents at home with the boys. Sully said, "Santa really was listening because he brought me legos!" He also got some art supplies, a sweater, and a stocking full of goodies. Charlie received some cooking supplies for his play kitchen, a shovel, and also a stocking full of goodies. Santa also brought the boys a sled! It was lots of fun to watch the boys tear open wrapping paper and get so excited about their gifts!

We had a great time at Poppa and Gramma's. It's always fun to have all the cousins together! The food was fabulous...ham, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, rolls, mandarin orange salad, fresh fruit, green bean casserole, and red velvet cake and Christmas cookies for dessert! We will be heading to Grammy and Grampy's for Christmas Day.

Pump It Up!

I took the boys to Pump It Up for some play time today. We met a friend of mine and her two children who are very close in age to Sully and Charlie. Most of my pictures were blurry because the boys were just running around having a blast! I've posted a few of the pics that turned out and you can see Sully trying out the rock climbing wall. Charlie was in heaven just climbing on everything. It was the perfect way to spend the morning!
