Art Show

Charlie's art teacher at school chose one of his pieces to display at the art show.  It is a district art show, with art from each school in the district.  We went to the reception to see his art.  He was excited to show it off!

Playoffs!

It is playoff time for Sully's regular house league.  His team is off to a great start with 3 wins and 0 losses!  Sully is a force to be reckoned with on the ice.  He is playing center and has made lots of goals.It is very exciting to see his team come together and play so well!

Chirp! Chirp!

One of the last days of winter break, the kids decided to paint the birdhouses we had bought.  Charlie picked these out at the craft store.  The boys did a great job.  We plan to wait for warmer weather and then hang them outside!

More Hockey!

Sully is #1 wearing the red shorts and green jersey.  This was one of his weekly house games.  There are seven local teams and they all play against each other at our local rink.  Sully knows a ton of kids from school, playing hockey, playing football, and various summer programs that he has done.  It's a lot of fun and gets more exciting to watch each year.  They call themselves "The Green Machine!"

Travel Hockey

Sully had his first game on the travel hockey team.  It was a great game and they tied 2-2.  Sully is number 24 and has on red shorts so he's easy to pick out!  He had some nice passes and his team is off to an awesome start.

Making Muffins!

The boys and I are off of school today due to the sub-zero temps!  We decided making muffins would be a great way to stay warm.  The kids had fun helping and eating them too.  We will be off again tomorrow so I'll have to think of some other activities to keep us busy.

Snow Much Fun!

 

 

 

We have had so much snow the last couple of days! The boys and O were busy trying to build a fort.  It's nice that they can enjoy this while they are all on break.

We took advantage of all the snow and took the kids sledding.  They had a blast and really worked up some speed on the hill.  We were there for about 1.5 hours when we were joined by Matt, O, and Alex.  We managed about another half hour and then had to go home to thaw out.  I think everyone will be sleeping well tonight!
