We had a great time Trick-or-Treating at Poppa and Gramma's with all the cousins. The kids got tons of candy and Andy and I of course made sure it was all safe to eat! Charlie was a very "aggressive" trick-or-treater and could have gone all night. He was on a mission to get the most candy! Sully just wanted to keep up with his older cousin Trevor and did a pretty good job. It was the perfect Halloween!

Lookin' Good!

Sully was overdue for a haircut so I took him after school today. This is the before picture.

It's a little hard to tell, but it looks great! She spiked up the front for him which Sully usually likes. Today when we got home, he asked if it was sticking down yet. I guess he wasn't in a spikey mood!

Mommy's Latte!

Charlie was up early on Sunday so I scooped him up and we headed out to Starbucks so everybody else could sleep in. Bowzer joined us as well while I enjoyed a pumpkin spice latte and Charlie had his "white coffee" and squeezy fruit. Charlie talked to every person that came in and even asked to shake a fireman's hand. He is quite social! We headed back home around 7:20 with a latte in hand for Andy. Sully had just woken up and Andy was still in bed!

Our friend Gilbert celebrated his 3rd birthday with a party at Pump It Up. It was a great party! Charlie and Gilbert were in a Gymboree class together before they were even walking. The time sure flies! Happy Birthday Gilbert!

Favorite Photos!

These are my two favorite photos taken this weekend! Sully and Charlie are constantly in motion so it's getting more difficult to get a good shot. I felt like these two photos really captured their personalities!

Exploration!

The boys and I hopped on the bus this morning and headed to the Children's Museum. The boys enjoyed building, playing firefighter, digging for fossils, shopping at the grocery store, and working on the car---all in about an hour and a half! Then it was back on the bus and home for lunch. A great way to spend the morning!

My Best Friend!

Olivia says Charlie Bear is her best friend! It showed as they played together at the park on Saturday. What a change from the early days when I think Olivia saw Charlie as a threat because they are the same age. It is fun to see them run around and play together and have little conversations!

The weather was great Saturday and I needed to get the boys out of the house so we met up with Bec and the kids. After some fun playing at the park, we took the kids to McDonald's for lunch. What a treat!

Painting Trim!

Andy took the week of October 4th off to paint the inside of the house. He got the rooms done and is just finishing up trim and doors. Sully has really been wanting to do some painting so he helped Andy with the trim.

It looks like Sully has a pretty steady hand! Maybe he should have taken the week off with Andy!

A great father-son moment! As a side note, we are almost done! Painting-check. Carpets cleaned-check. Cleaners coming today. Photographer hopefully Tuesday. House on the market by next week!!!

Carving Pumpkins with Poppa!

A trip to the pumpkin farm wouldn't be complete without making jack-o-lanterns!

Poppa, as usual, had all the right tools to do the job! He even purchased a neat scooper to help get out all of the seeds.

We carved Sully's gigantic pumpkin first. He wanted a scary face!

Charlie wanted a happy face for his. Poppa delivered the perfect jack-o-lanterns!

Yesterday, the boys and I headed to the pumpkin farm. We met up with my parents, Laura, Abby, Bec, Matt, O, and Alex. It was a great day (actually a little too hot!) and the kids loved it. There were rides, a haunted barn, a hayride, and tons of pumpkins. Sully got the biggest pumpkin---26 pounds!

Zamboni!

Charlie loves the Zamboni! He even got to check it out up-close this week while Sully was on the ice!

Sully was excited to have me at ice skating this week.

His coach came up to me after skating and said, "You know what Sully's best quality is? He never gives up, he just keeps going." They play a tag game on the ice and Sully will tag one kid and then just keep going until the coach tells them it's over. It was a proud mommy moment!
