Sully and I get to spend some one-on-one time together when Charlie goes down for his nap. Today Sully wanted to play with play-doh. We had a blast making all kinds of stuff!
We tried out a new park earlier this week. It was suggested by my sister Rebecca and she was right---it's perfect for both boys! Lots of equipment for Sully to play on and a water feature for Charlie. Sully is talking into this thing and listening to another boy at the other end---a neat little toy. Charlie was enjoying the slide and going down all by himslef.
We went to Jamaica the last week in July, 2007. I was 22 weeks pregnant and it was super hot so I spent a lot of time in the water just relaxing. Andy did a little windsurfing and we went rafting down the Martha Brae River. I think it was our best vacation ever (so far!).
As soon as we get to the park, Sully heads for the sandbox and Charlie heads for the water! Sully informed me today that he just doesn't want to have his picture taken so it's a little harder to get clear photos of him---I'll keep trying!
Charlie may not like the sand, but he is the first one to run through the sprinkler! We went to our neighborhood park before dinner yesterday and as you can see, Charlie was just loving the water!
Grammy and Grampy invited us for dinner Sunday night. We met at their house for some playtime and then off to the club for a meal. The kids love to play in the back yard and Grammy even brought out the bubbles which is always a hit. The yard looks beautiful, due in part to all the rain we've had (and of course Grammy's hard work). Things are going to be crazy and exciting this week with the new baby so it was nice to have a relaxing get together!
Last summer, Andy and I took the boys down to the farm to visit Laura, Jim, Abby, and Trevor. It is awesome to have all that space to run around. Andy enjoyed riding the four wheeler around the farm! Charlie liked swinging just like Uncle Jim!
I took the boys to a park this morning and the biggest hit was the sandbox. It is the nicest one I have seen at any of the parks so far. It's huge, is partly shaded, and there are tons of sand toys and trucks for everyone to use. Charlie was curious but wouldn't actually get in the sandbox. Sully could have played all day!
Well, I have become pretty addicted to this blog thing. I try to post as often as possible and I check it all the time. Seriously, you should all try it. I love looking at other people's blogs to keep up with what's going on. Anyway, I encourage you to post comments as well. It's fun to see who's checking and I love reading the comments!
Memorable Mondays
It's always fun to take a look back so...I will be posting pictures on Mondays that are from the past. It may be barely past or way far back so keep checking to see what's new!
My Busy Boys
I thought this title was totally appropriate! My boys truly do keep me going---I can't imagine where they get that from! One of Sully's favorite things to ask me each morning is, "What are we doing today!"
