Family Fun!

The whole family went to Pump It Up yesterday! It's so much fun and a great way to burn off some energy on a cold day.

Sully received this game (Elefun) from Laura, Jim, Abby, and Trevor for Christmas. Sully absolutely loves it and Charlie goes nuts when the butterflies start shooting out of the elephant's trunk.

Yesterday morning we met my parents, Olivia, and Uncle Chris for breakfast. Matt and Bec were home with a sick Alex. After breakfast, we decided to go to the zoo to see the farm animals. When we got there, we realized it was closed so we just walked around and enjoyed the snow. Uncle Chris was teaching Sully to make snowballs and Olivia wanted to catch the snowflakes on her tongue! Charlie loved just running around with rosy cheeks! It was a beautiful snowfall!

Santa Was Here!

Christmas morning we opened presents at home with the boys. Sully said, "Santa really was listening because he brought me legos!" He also got some art supplies, a sweater, and a stocking full of goodies. Charlie received some cooking supplies for his play kitchen, a shovel, and also a stocking full of goodies. Santa also brought the boys a sled! It was lots of fun to watch the boys tear open wrapping paper and get so excited about their gifts!

We had a great time at Poppa and Gramma's. It's always fun to have all the cousins together! The food was fabulous...ham, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, rolls, mandarin orange salad, fresh fruit, green bean casserole, and red velvet cake and Christmas cookies for dessert! We will be heading to Grammy and Grampy's for Christmas Day.

Pump It Up!

I took the boys to Pump It Up for some play time today. We met a friend of mine and her two children who are very close in age to Sully and Charlie. Most of my pictures were blurry because the boys were just running around having a blast! I've posted a few of the pics that turned out and you can see Sully trying out the rock climbing wall. Charlie was in heaven just climbing on everything. It was the perfect way to spend the morning!

Holiday Haircuts!

I took the boys for haircuts after school today. They were both in desperate need! They both like to sit in the cool cars and Charlie wanted to use the clippers. They both look so handsome!

Bringing Back Tradition!

When I was growing up, my mom, my sisters and I would make Christmas cookies with a friend of the family. We bakes tons of cookies. This year Rebecca wanted to see if we wanted to start this up again so we did. My mom did all the planning and shopping and we all did the baking. The kids were included as well, except for the 2-year olds (Charlie and Olivia)---maybe when they get a little bit older! We did bake tons of cookies and enjoyed spending the day together! It's always fun to explore some place new! I snapped these pictures last week when I took Charlie for his 2-year check-up (stats posted last week!). Charlie loved all the drawers, turning the lights on and off, and just checking it all out!

Charlie's Birthday!

We bought Charlie a kitchen for his birthday. Both of the boys love it! It was quite a project to put together and took a couple of hours. I'm sure having Sully help made it much easier for Andy.

Technical Difficulties and an Update!

We have been experiencing technical difficulties at our house the past several days. We are finally back on-line but the PC with all the pictures has crashed. I will try and post in a few days! Keep your fingers crossed that we haven't lost too many photos!

Charlie turned 2 on Saturday although he will tell you he's 5! We went for his check-up today and here are the stats:
Weight: 28 pounds (50%)
Height: 33 3/4 inches (50%)
Head: 90th percentile

He has an ear infection in his right ear but otherwise is doing perfect! He got his finger pricked for the lead test and not even one tear---tough guy! We will go back in a few weeks so they can make sure the ear infection is gone and to get one shot.

Andy's parents and younger brother came over tonight for another Thanksgiving feast prepared by Andy! The boys wore out Grammy and Grampy with about 100 games of hide-and-seek! A wonderful time was had by all!

We celebrated Thanksgiving Day at my parent's house. It was fun to see all of the kids playing together! Jim's mom joined us as well and I think enjoyed seeing all the little ones. We stuffed ourselves and enjoyed a day full of family!
