Rough Morning!

Charlie had a bit of a rough start this morning. Not sure why---he may be getting some more teeth. I guess everyone's allowed to have a bad morning.

After a meal and a run with mommy, things were looking a little better!

Oh, Brother!

Charlie loves to do what Sully does. Sully took the pillows off the sofa and was pretending to sleep. Charlie, of course, joined right in!

Sweet Slumber

Whenever Charlie is sleepy, he plays with his hair. I went to check on him at naptime and he was just starting to wake up. I had to capture this because it is so Charlie!

Party Time!

We had the family over to our house for Sully's birthday. Sully had a blast opening gifts and Abby helped him read all of his birthday cards. We had cupcakes for everyone per Sully's request. Charlie enjoyed the wrapping paper and all the excitement of having everyone around. He wants to keep up with all of the big kids. It was a great party!

Getting the Hang of It!

Well, since we got this blast of snow, Sully is practicing riding his new bike inside. Good thing we have wood floors and a long layout. He is starting to get the hang of pedaling and steering!

I can't believe Sully turned 4 today!

Sully's favorite things at 4...
*frozen waffles, pancakes, and any kind of creative concoction I can come up with---the latest is go-gurt squeezed into a bowl and mixed with Kix cereal!

*being outside, especially when we have snow
*being wild and running around like crazy

*being the boss

*Sesame Street
*school
*the color blue

Figuring Things Out

Charlie loves the cord to almost anything, especially the vacuum. It can keep him entertained for quite a while.

First Shoes!

Charlie got his first real shoes last week! He seems to be getting used to them and it won't be long before he's running in them!

Running Strong!

I finally got out the double jog stroller that Andy bought me for Christmas and took the boys running. There had been so much snow and ice hanging around that I really hadn't tried it out. The boys were great running partners! It is quite a workout to push both of them.

Future Mountain Climber?

Charlie loved this step stool at Gramma and Poppa's. He just wouldn't stay away from it and even figured out how to climb to the top so he could reach the countertop. You can never be more than a couple of inches away from Charlie because he is into everything!

Making Bread with Poppa!

Andy was in Minnesota for work so the boys and I went to visit Poppa and Gramma. One of the highlights for Sully was making bread with Poppa. He enjoyed eating it as well!

Daddy!

Andy had to go to Minnesota for work. He stopped by the house before he left and had a chance to see Charlie!

Mr. Persistent

Charlie is very persistent. He pulled this easel out from under the bed, propped it up, and was trying to climb on it so that he could get on the bed. He couldn't get on the bed but would have kept trying if I didn't take him out of the room. We definitely have a climber on our hands!

Memorable Monday

These were taken exactly one year ago! It's amazing how time flies!

Choo! Choo!

Charlie got this train from my parents for Christmas. He is just starting to figure it out. Sully thinks it's great and loves to help Charlie!

Just Another Day

Sully likes to draw and practice writing his name. He also likes to write his room number from school.

At Charlie's Gymboree class they have a box filled with little toys that the kids can manipulate and they have all different textures. I created our own "busy box" at home and Charlie loves it!

Rockstar!

Sully loves to rock out with Daddy! The guitar is a little too big so Sully found this cutting board and pretends it is his guitar. It is the perfect size!

Andy was making goofy noises and Charlie thought it was the funniest thing!
