Finally!

 

 

 

Enough snow to play in!  The boys were super excited to have enough snow to have a snowball fight, do some shoveling, and make snow angels. It was also nice that it wasn't super cold so they lasted  outside for quite a while!

Christmas 2012!

 

 

 

We started the festivities at Grammy and Grampy's on Christmas Eve.  Alex, O, and Charlie were busy crafting while Sully was outside tossing the football around.  We opened presents and had yummy food.  We  took the scenic route home to see some great Christmas lights.  Sully was so excited about Santa coming, I thought he would never fall asleep!

More presents, fabulous food, and tons of sweets.  We had a GREAT Christmas!

Zoo Lights!

 

 

 

 

 

 

We headed to the city for some yummy food and then off to Zoo Lights!  We saw Matt, Scott, O, and Alex for a couple of minutes before they headed home.  The lights and music were great!  It is a great way to kick off the holiday week!

Goalie Debut!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In house league, every kid gets a chance to be goalie at least once.  Sully got his chance on Sunday.  Thank goodness the gear is provided because there is a lot of equipment! It is nerve-wrecking as a parent to watch.   None of the players have much experience with this position and it's hard to move with all the gear.  Sully did fine and next week he'll be back to skating.

Party Time!

We celebrated Charlie's 5th birthday this weekend with a family party! Everyone was able to make it for presents, pizza, cake, and ice cream.  Charlie loved all of his gifts and hanging out with his cousins.

More celebrating to come this week!  Charlie's actual birthday is on Wednesday.  It's hard to believe he is going to be 5!!!

Yes, my annual attempt to get a picture of the boys together for the Christmas card!  All I want is...
1. for them to both be looking at the camera and smiling
2.for them to not have boogers or other junk on their clothes
3. for them to be in something that sort of matches so I don't have to change the picture to black and white
4. for them to stand still so the picture isn't blurry
5. for them to not complain the entire time!
Overall, it went pretty well and there were a couple to choose from.  Since they met all of the above requirements, I will not make them suffer through another photo shoot. The top picture is the winner!
