Our first camping trip was fun and a learning experience! Our site was beautiful but it was a walk-up site. Not far but it would have been nice to have the car right there---alot of hauling with 2 kids. We underestimated how much firewood we would need. We had plenty for dinner and smores but not enough for the next morning! Other than that it went pretty well. The kids enjoyed running around and once things were set up Andy and I were able to relax. I think we will definitely try it again!

Oooh! That cooking pit looks scary with Charlie around. Were you able to keep him away from it?
