The basement!

Near Sully is the piano that we inherited with the house! If it is in decent condition there may be some lessons for the boys in the future! If not, they will certainly enjoy banging around on it.

interesting! (it's just storage behind the barn door)

The basement is just a basement but it certainly gives us lots of storage.

Home Inspection!

The kitchen

The family room (there's a fireplace)

Overall, the home inspection went well with only a few minor things. It was great to have a chance to get in and really look around some more and take pictures. It is a little overwhelming (actually a lot!) because it is kind of a mess. The paint job in all the rooms is pretty bad and the colors are a little crazy. We see so much potential but it will definitely be a work in progress. A good cleaning, fresh paint, and all our stuff and it will be a huge improvement. Stay tuned...

More pics from our explorations!

This park was fun! Sully wants to play sports wherever we go...baseball, basketball, hockey---you name it! He's quite a little athlete. Charlie continues to amaze us with his climbing abilities!

Checkin' Out the Burbs!

On Saturday, we needed to go drop off something for the realtor. We took the boys to see the house (outside only) and then drove around to check things out. In our normal style, we found a great park and let the boys play for a little bit. It was pretty hot so we didn't spend too much time outside. We are all getting very excited about the move!

Splash Zone!

We headed to my parents for another day of fun and sun! Bec and Company along with Laura and Crew met us there as well. It was fabulous weather although the water was a bit chilly. As you can see, it didn't stop the kids from enjoying some swim time!

We had a great time!

"Chick" this out!

The kids loved watching the baby chicks at the museum.

We were lucky enough to see this one actually hatch!

Sully couldn't take his eyes off of the egg.

almost there...

It was quite exciting (even for the adults) to see this little check hatch his way out into the world. It was so exciting that Sully could't go see the trains until it was over!

Inquiring Minds!

Laura and the kids came to the city for a visit so we all went to the museum this morning. We went to quite a few exhibits but I think the weather exhibit and the chicks were both favorites (chick pictures coming soon)! We all ate lunch together and then made sure to have ice cream before we headed home. It was a fantastic morning!

Charlie at Work!

Capturing a few photos of my little worker man!

Imagination!

On Thursday, we met Bec, Alex, and O at an indoor playspace. There was a huge dress-up area, movie theater area, grocery store, train table, and a house. It was great because these are not the things that we usually play with at home. The kids occupied themselves for two hours before it was time to head home for lunch and rest time!

Boys in Motion!

With the rainy weather, we decided to head to Pump It Up for some indoor fun. It's hard to get pictures because the boys are constantly moving. They had a great time!

Swim Day!

Sully took this photo of Charlie and I

Charlie is becoming a fish just like his big brother!

Getting ready to jump on in!

Sully taking a picture of himself!

We headed to Gramma and Poppa's house for some swimming today. Poppa had to work so we hung out with Gramma who was an awesome hostess. The boys and I arrived early since we are early birds at our house. This gave us lots of time to swim and play in the yard. Bec, Laura and all the kids spent the day swimming as well. I love getting all the cousins together. It's so nice that they are close and love to hang out with each other!

Happy Father's Day!

We headed to Poppa and Gramma's today to celebrate Father's Day! I didn't get a ton of photos but tried to at least capture the kids in the pool. ALL of the kids got in to swim and float in the pirate boats. The weather cooperated, the food was wonderful, and it was a great kick-off to summer! Happy Father's Day!
