The Past Several Days!

Sunday I took Charlie running with me. He was still in his pj's but bundled up for a cool Fall morning!

Sunday at the Shedd!

Sunday afternoon we took the boys to the Shedd Aquarium. Both boys really enjoyed looking at all the fish and other animals. The public libraries have museum passes that you can check out and we are definitely taking advantage of that---our admission to the aquarium was free!

Happy Birthday Grampy!

We celebrated Grampy's birthday yesterday by meeting for breakfast and then going to the park/beach. It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed playing in the sand and on the equipment. Happy Birthday Grampy!

Hangin' Out!

After I dropped Sully off at school this morning, Charlie and I met up with Bec, O and Alex for a power walk! After our walk we went back to Bec's house and let the kids play in the courtyard. It's fun to watch the two of them together!

Squeaky Clean!

Charlie actually had the tub all to himself and he had a blast just playing around!

At the Firehouse!

We have two fire stations within walking distance of our house. Today we were walking past and the doors were open so we stopped in. The firefighters were so nice and let Sully and Charlie sit in the engines and do some exploring. Each of then got a coloring book as well. They loved it!

Renewed Interest!

We've had this Elmo Toolbench for quite a while. Sully used to play with it all the time and we brought it back out when Charlie was ready. It's been sitting in the living room forever and no one is playing with it. This morning, Charlie was really interested in it. He was putting the screws in and out of the holes, using the saw, and really figuring it out. Guess it's not time to put it in storage quite yet!

Yes, another park!

It was a beautiful afternoon so after running some errands, we went to yet another park! There is equipment for little kids and big kids as well as a sandbox. Charlie is becoming quite skilled at climbing and sliding---he has no fear! Sully was on the move (I couldn't get many non-blurred pictures!) but is getting quite good at swinging on the "big boy swings!"

Visiting Daddy at Work!

Andy has been very busy at work and needed to go into the office for a few hours this afternoon. The boys and I decided to surprise him and walked over (about a 2-mile trek) after nap time. It was a little long but Sully was a trooper and Charlie enjoyed the stroller ride.



Andy was setting up computer stations for some new employees so there were lots of empty computer boxes lying around for Sully to play with!

Charlie was checking out everything as usual! It is exhausting to watch him explore every nook and cranny and keep him out of trouble!

Andy let the boys play around with a can of air. Always a sure way to get some smiles and giggles!

Back to School!

Sully started back to school today! He is in a class with 3, 4, and 5 year olds and will have the same teacher as last year! He was very excited to see all of his friends this morning. I can't wait to hear all about his first day!

We celebrated Labor Day at the club with Grammy and Grampy, Bec, Matt, O, and Alex. Sully and Charlie had a blast in the big inflatable jumping houses. The also enjoyed just having a nice grassy area to run around in.
